Serra da Capivara National Park: A top global destination

At Serra da Capivara National Park, in the Northeast of Brazil, you will find one of the largest concentrations of prehistoric sites ever recorded, displaying cave paintings and engravings on walls, caves and rock shelters, some said to be more than 25,000 years old.

As the world recovers from the pandemic, the Brazilian government has invested in the Park infrastructure to foster expansion of archeological ecotourism and the development of the region. Serra da Capivara, for its outstanding universal value, is a UNESCO world heritage site.
