The Brazilian government, through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, will use big data and artificial intelligence to seek funding sources around the world for national science and technology projects.

The project is a partnership with the Lab. of Machine Learning in Finance and Organizations of the University of Brasília and is in accordance with the new policy of increasing the supply of private scientific funding - such as donations - to reduce dependence on public funding.

On another front, the Ministry created the InvestMCTI page, which lists more than 300 research projects ready to receive funds. Brazil is connecting its scientists to potential investors.
